Funeral services were held today, Monday, July 14 at Norunga Lutheran Church in rural Lowry with the Rev.  Joe Skogmo officiating.  Interment was in the church cemetery.  Arrangements were with the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood.

Eileen Lavonne (Moline) Guderian, the daughter of Wallace Moline and Fern (Early) Moline, was born on Nov. 18, 1929, in Webster City, Iowa. She grew up on a farm southwest of Clare, Iowa, and went on to graduate from high school in Gilmore City. She met her husband, Harold Guderian, at Gilmore City Lutheran Church, and they were united in marriage on March 6, 1949, in Gilmore City, Iowa. They first settled on a farm west of Gilmore City. They moved five times before making their home on a farm outside of Lowry, where they lived for 55 years together.

Eileen was active at church. She enjoyed quilting, working with ceramics, doing crossword puzzles, going to the casino, playing piano and spending time with friends and family.  Eileen will be remembered for her work with the church, her dedication to and love for her family and friends, and, of course, for the magic she could work in the kitchen.
